Kalau di Windows anda mengenal MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, dsb), Lubuntu juga punya program serupa, salah satunya adalah LibreOffice. Bedanya, untuk menggunakan program MS Office kita mesti membeli; sementara LibreOffice bisa diperoleh dan digunakan secara GRATIS. Berikut ini cara menginstall LibreOffice di Lubuntu Linux 16.04 LTS.

- Buka terminal (tekan tombol Ctrl+Alt+T) lalu ketik
- Setelah selesai, LibreOffice bisa diakses lewat menu Lubuntu > Office. Di dalamnya ada 6 submenu, yaitu LibreOffice, LibreOffice Writer (mirip MS Word), LibreOffice Calc (mirip MS Excel), LibreOffice Impress (mirip MS Powerpoint), LibreOffice Base (mirip MS Access), dan LibreOffice Draw.
sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install libreoffice libreoffice-gnome
